First & Second Generations

The first and second generation Viper was built from 1992-2002.  The 92-95 cars designated SR I and the 96-02 cars SR 2.  Assembled in Detroit, MI USA.  These cars were built with the 8.0L V10 engine which produced from 400HP in the early years up to 460HP by 2002.  The RT/10 convertible was available in the 1st and 2nd generation and from 1996-2002 the GTS coupe was available.  The 1st and 2nd generation cars used many of the same components in the body and driveline.
